African Orchid, found in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Zaire, Tanzania, Uganda and Angola in primary forest in deep shade on small twigs and branches at elevations of 100 to 1650 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphtye with a very short, woody stem.
